2010 is creating Momentum!

2010 is off to an amazing start! I had a girls night in last weekend and wow was it tons of fun! I love sitting back and looking at the energetic and diverse group of people that I have attracted into my life! There were women in my home in their 20s through their 40s and that is such a beautiful thing to me! :) Beyond my personal event planning (which I naturally introduced magnificent women to one another in my home!) our networking group is doing great and growing fast! I have a session with my coach this week to continue developing my business idea into a concrete business model. My goal is to have it launched on or before April 1st, my coach, Chris tells me it will be launched WAYY before then! I'm so excited!

I'm also super excited about the Speed Networking event I have planned on February 9th, 2010 at 6:30pm at Jesse Camille's Restaurant in Naugatuck, CT! I attended an event recently and had a lot of fun and immediately knew I had to organize one of my own! :) I had exchanged emails with a wonderful woman named Rachel Harrison online this past summer and we had intentions on getting together, yet our schedules did not permit. So we finally connected Tuesday at my networking group and we have even more in common than we realized! She also offered to sponsor some of my events which is sooo exciting because I want my events to remain affordable. So the Speed Networking event will have refreshments thanks to Rachel!

Some of my other goals this year are to get our home office organized by hiring Ronelle Stankus, who is a Virtual Assistant but also offers in home organizing. Get a system in place to have our finances in order (monitor/manage what comes in and what goes out). My goal is to read 2 books a month or at least 24 books this year! We'll be attending Tony Robbins Date With Destiny later in the year!

If I haven't said it before, I LOVE networking and building relationships and connecting others! Until next time.......

  2. I just stumbled upon your post and had no idea you'd used my name. Thanks for the mention, Heather. I doubt that what we will need to do will be a huge endeavor. When you have some time, we can sit down and talk about it. It may be no more than a few ideas that you haven't come up with yet that you can easily impliment. Let me know when you're free to set up a coffee visit.

  3. Hey there Heather,

I just wanted to say that your drive and determination in setting and working toward accomplishing your goals is impressive. It is so important to set goals in life, even little ones (baby steps) are important and thank you for the reminder, as I could use some more goal setting myself.

Take care & God Bless in 2010,

    Andrea Blackford
